The A6 highway, the beltway, and public transports, provide a good road link between the Grand Lyon districts. This traffic will soon be improved by the intensification of the rail service.
A lot of trainees and students attend the education and research pole which expanded around famous establishments such as the Ecole Centrale of Lyon, the EM Lyon Business School, the textile center or the Paul Bocuse institute.

A significant natural patrimony was inherited from large properties dating back to the XIXth century and from traditional farming activities. It has been carefully saved and contributes to the Ecullois’ quality of life. Even more, such a patrimony inspires the steady sustainable development policy led today. The will to master any car traffic resulted in making the city center safer and will be carried on with new improvements, to promote sustainable transport systems in particular.
